Is it possible to stop junk (snail)mail? →
I would say I get >20lbs of junk mail every month, e.g. coupons, credit offers, menus, catalogs, etc. Looked into it and came across a page on Privacyrights.org that has info on stopping this huge paper waste that ends up in the landfill. There are several steps, but the first one looks the most promising: opt-ing out at the Direct Marketing Associations web site. If this works, it should stop...
